I'm one of the lucky(?) few that have gotten a gmail account. I like it. It's nifty. But whatever you do, do not make the mistake I made of accidentally typing http://www.gmale.com! (NSFW)

I don't know if they created it because of Gmail since whois says it was created on 26-Feb-04 and Google announced Gmail on April 1st.

I haven't posted anything to this website in almost two months. Thats because I switched to Wordpress and then started rewritting the layout. I was bored with my old one and decided to make a new one and I just couldn't come up with anything I liked. (and I also started playing City Of Heroes which sucked up what little free time I had, but thats another story)

Then I found this spiffy theme called Kubrick by Binary Bonsai and it was good. It was really easy to setup and modify. It still needs some work, but it'll do for now. :)

Sonofbitch... Leo Laporte reports that G4 (Comcast) has fired the entire staff of TechTV! Wtf? Years ago when TechTV first came out I had TechTV where I was living. It was one of my favorite channels and I suffered without it for two years. Then I moved and the Comcast we had didn't carry TechTV and I was pissed. When we recently moved into our new house (just 3 months ago) I made the decision to get DirectTV specifically because I wanted TechTV back. Even paying extra for my cable modem because I wanted TechTV. Then I heard Comcast and their shitty G4 channel bought TechTV and they were going to merge. At first I thought it wouldn't be so bad. Then Leo, my favorite host left the Screen Savers show. I should have known things weren't going well. G4 has two shows I kinda like - Icons and Starcade (yeah I think its cool). Those shows combined with The Screensavers, TechLive, Nerd Nation, Big Thinkers, Invent This!, X-Play, and Unscrewed would make a great channel. Notice TechTV has many more great shows than G4. Cut out the crap from both channels and keep the good stuff and life is good. Kill the lame shows on G4 like that dumbass on Portal and stop looping through fucking game intros. Cut out stupid filler shows from TechTV like Body Hits, Spy School, and Conspiracies. Now they go and fire everyone in TechTV?? If anything it should have been the other way around! gah! Anger rising! HULK SMASH!

The last spam from the Thinkgeek Overlords has added quite a few new gadgets to my wishlist. Along with the USB Smokeless Ashtray, this USB Biodrive also looks pretty sweet. Unfortunately as the name might suggest, it doesn't encode your data in some kind of biomatter DNA. Instead, it encrypts your data and is unlocked using a finger print sensor. The other cool thing about it is the picture above, with the docking station, cords, and all look like kinky bondage sex toys. (oh google is going to love that last sentence)

Those wacky Japanese are at it again. Here's the perfect thing to go with your Cigarette Lighter Mod, a USB powered smokeless ashtray. The downfall is the goofy pokemon looking thing inside and the fact that it's way too small. Other then that, it's pretty sweet.

First Firefly, then Buffy, now Angel? I must admit Angel has jumped the shark a few times over the years and was going down hill when they took over Wolfram and Hart, but it was actually starting to improve lately. Now where am I going to get my Joss Whedon fix? Shit, I'm still traumatized over the loss of my Willow fix. Am I a dork? Yeah and proud of it. I love his shows. Oh and here's another page lamenting the loss of Angel.

Woohoo finally retired my dinosaur of a cell phone (motorola timeport) and got a fancy new Nokia 3650. Very nice. Of course, I had to add to the useless bandwidth on the internet and make a moblog.

Wow. Somehow I missed this story. Basically a guy in Germany puts a personal ad on the Internet looking for a well built male to be slaughtered and consumed. Someone actually responds and agrees to be killed and eaten. They video tape everything as he cuts off the man's penis, they fry it up and eat it together. Then he stabs the man to death, cuts him up into pieces, eats some of him and puts the rest in the freezer. (proving yet again you can find anything on the Internet) Here's a fun fact about Germany: there's no laws against cannibalism. On top of that, they don't consider it murder because he volunteered.

Now comes the fun part. (groan) PETA has sent the cannibal a gift basket filled with tofu, veggie burgers, and a vegetarian cook book in the hopes of converting him to vegetarianism. Seriously. Wow.
